Great quality junior shin pads. Ankle protection has hard plastic discs built into the fabric positioned over the ankle bones for added protection. Adidas app size guide doesn’t make it clear that these are not adult shin pads. Had to exchange a couple of times to get the right size which Adidas handled really well and without a problem. Large size fits my 11 year old son perfectly
