The sizing is way off. I purchased a medium, and they fit like a small/XS - with little to no room in the hips. Secondly, the design is well-intentioned but poorly executed: I'd sooner pull the outer short up to reach the liner pocket rather than using the upper gap in the fabric which is designed for that purpose, as it's just very awkward during a run. The gap also causes the outer short to bunch and ride up. The material of the outer short itself is also quite loud and uncomfortable. The compressive short would be a highlight if the sizing was correct. I appreciate how well the short stays in place, but again they fit way too small - and feel as though the designers didn't account for male parts.

These shorts are the best of both worlds. The liner help to keep the shorts positioned perfectly, while the outer is light and breathable.
